I"m John the founder of Sierra Timberworks.  As a career photographer who uses a camera to capture beauty & tell stories, I find that using wood shaping tools to create something beautiful & sublime feeds the artistic soul in a unique manner. As a kid my Dad had us building decks & using power tools before we could even reach the workbench. Building props & scenery in studio over the years has been great & now I’m excited to create pieces for the public.
